About the Event

Join us on March 10th, at 5:30PM, to hear from Assembly member Joaquin Arambula, Mayor Bryan Osorio, and members of the southern Central Valley community urgently speak on environmental and climate issues affecting the Central Valley.

In this 90-minute virtual town hall, we will be capturing the national and state-level momentum regarding public lands protection and the ongoing climate crisis to uplift the Central Valley perspective that is often not heard or lost. This town halls aim to uplift and provide a platform to discuss how public lands, health, and climate intersect in the Central Valley.

We’re hoping to build momentum and support for issues such as ending oil and gas leasing on public lands, the Federal 30x30 initiative, increasing parks and access to green space in our communities, and how climate and health solutions are connected to lands and park access, and protection.

Partners supporting this include; California League of Conservation Voters, Central Valley Air Quality Coalition, The Central Valley Partnership, Fresno Building Healthy Communities, The Climate Center, California Wilderness Coalition, Audubon California, and The Wilderness Society, Assemblymember Joaquin Arambula, and Mayor Bryan Osorio-Trujillo.
