Jesus Melendez joined Fresno Building Healthy Communities as a Project Assistant in 2023. Jesus is excited to help Fresno Building Healthy Communities with its mission statement and focus areas by supporting our Project Team.

Born and raised in southeast Fresno, Jesus is a native of the Central Valley. He attended Roosevelt High School and graduated in 2009. Jesus went to Fresno City College before transferring to California State University, Fresno, and graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing in 2018. Jesus has fund-raising experience, along with work in event planning.

Jesus is an avid sports fan, and in his spare time, he likes spending quality time with his brothers, watching action and comedy movies, and going for a run or walk.
